# §3324. Monitoring and evaluation of enhancement projects


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1), in cooperation with the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of Commerce, shall establish, in consultation with the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of Washington, the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of Oregon, and the [appropriate tribal coordinating body](/usc/16/3302.md?p=1), a system to monitor and evaluate on a continuing basis all [enhancement](/usc/16/3302.md?p=8) [projects](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) for which funds have been distributed under this subchapter, and may discontinue or suspend distribution of all or part of the funds if any [project](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) is not being carried out in a manner consistent with the comprehensive [enhancement](/usc/16/3302.md?p=8) plan concerned and this chapter. Each recipient of a grant under this subchapter shall make available to the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) and to the Comptroller General of the United States for purposes of audit and examination, any book, document, paper, and record that is pertinent to the funds received under the grant.
