# §3119. Cooperative agreements


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) may enter into cooperative agreements or otherwise cooperate with other Federal agencies, the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a), [Native Corporations](/usc/16/3102.md?p=6), other appropriate [persons](/usc/16/450rr–1.md?p=b) and organizations, and, acting through the Secretary of State, other nations to effectuate the purposes and policies of this subchapter.
