# §291a. Cooperative agreements with property owners of non-Federal property


The [Secretary](/usc/16/284j.md?p=1) of the Interior may enter into cooperative agreements with the [owners](/usc/16/429b–3.md?p=4) of property in Vincennes, Indiana, historically associated with George Rogers Clark and the Northwest Territory for the inclusion of such property in the George Rogers Clark National Historical [Park](/usc/16/284j.md?p=2). Under such agreements the [Secretary](/usc/16/284j.md?p=1) may assist in the preservation, renewal, and interpretation of the property.
