# §251b. Exchange of lands


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior is authorized to exchange approximately six thousand six hundred eight and ninety-six one-hundredths acres of land adjacent to the Queets Corridor and Ocean Strip portions of Olympic National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), which were originally acquired by the Federal Government for public works purposes, for lands and interest in lands not in Federal ownership within the exterior boundaries of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3): Provided, That the lands so exchanged shall be of approximately equal value.
