# §241d. Exclusion of lands


The following [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) is excluded from the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3): That portion of [section 8](/usc/16/8.md) lying southwest of a line between the common corner of sections [8](/usc/16/8.md), [9](/usc/16/9.md), [16](/usc/16/16.md), and [17](/usc/16/17.md) and the northwest corner of the southwest quarter [section 8](/usc/16/8.md); that portion of [section 16](/usc/16/16.md) lying southwest of a line between the southeast corner southwest quarter and the northwest corner southwest quarter [section 16](/usc/16/16.md); and [section 17](/usc/16/17.md), township 147 north, range 100 west, fifth principal meridian, North Dakota.
