# §241a. Extension of boundaries


The following-described lands are made a part of the Theodore Roosevelt National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), subject to all laws and regulations applicable thereto:

Beginning at the southwest corner of [section 17](/usc/16/17.md), township 147 north, range 100 west; thence north along the west boundaries of sections [17](/usc/16/17.md), [8](/usc/16/8.md), [5](/usc/16/5.md), township 147 north, range 100 west, and [section 32](/usc/16/32.md) to the southwest corner of section 29, township 148 north, range 100 west; thence east to the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of section 29; thence north to the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 29; thence east to the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 29; thence north along west boundary of sections 28 and [21](/usc/16/21.md) to the west quarter corner of [section 21](/usc/16/21.md); thence east to the east quarter corner of [section 21](/usc/16/21.md); thence north along west boundary of [section 22](/usc/16/22.md) to the northwest corner of [section 22](/usc/16/22.md); thence east along the north boundaries of sections [22](/usc/16/22.md), [23](/usc/16/23.md), [24](/usc/16/24.md), township 148 north, range 100 west and sections 19 and 20 to the north quarter corner of section 20, township 148 north, range 99 west; thence south to the northwest corner of the southeast quarter of section 20; thence east to the east quarter corner of section 20; thence south to the southeast corner of section 20; thence along the north boundaries of sections 28, 27, and [26](/usc/16/26.md), township 148 north, range 99 west, to the northeast corner of [section 26](/usc/16/26.md); thence south along east boundaries of sections [26](/usc/16/26.md) and [35](/usc/16/35.md) to the east quarter corner of [section 35](/usc/16/35.md), township 148 north, range 99 west; thence west to the north bank of Little Missouri River; thence following the north bank of the Little Missouri River in a generally westerly direction to where the north bank of the river crosses the north boundary of [section 4](/usc/16/4.md), township 147 north, range 99 west; thence west to the northwest corner of [section 4](/usc/16/4.md); thence south to the southeast corner of [section 5](/usc/16/5.md); thence west along the south boundaries of sections [5](/usc/16/5.md) and [6](/usc/16/6.md), township 147 north, range 99 west, and [section 1](/usc/16/1.md), township 147 north, range 100 west to the northeast corner of [section 11](/usc/16/11.md); thence south along east boundaries of sections [11](/usc/16/11.md) and [14](/usc/16/14.md) to the southeast corner of [section 14](/usc/16/14.md); thence west along the south boundaries of sections [14](/usc/16/14.md), [15](/usc/16/15.md), [16](/usc/16/16.md), and [17](/usc/16/17.md) to the point of beginning, all west of the fifth principal meridian.
