# §192b. Addition of lands


The President of the United States is authorized, upon the recommendation of the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior, and with respect to lands located in a national forest upon the joint recommendation of the [Secretaries](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior and of Agriculture, to add to the Rocky Mountain National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), in the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of Colorado, by Executive proclamation any or all of the following-described lands, to wit:

Sections [5](/usc/16/5.md) and [6](/usc/16/6.md), township 3 north, range 75 west.

All of [section 3](/usc/16/3.md) except the northeast quarter northeast quarter; all of [section 4](/usc/16/4.md); north half, north half southeast quarter, southwest quarter southeast quarter [section 5](/usc/16/5.md); north half, northwest quarter southwest quarter [section 9](/usc/16/9.md); north half, northeast quarter southwest quarter, southeast quarter section 10; northeast quarter, north half southeast quarter [section 15](/usc/16/15.md), in township 4 north, range 73 west.

North half, southwest quarter, northwest quarter southeast quarter [section 17](/usc/16/17.md); south half southwest quarter, southwest quarter southeast quarter section 20; south half northeast quarter, southeast quarter northwest quarter, south half section 28; all of section 29 except northeast quarter northeast quarter; east half [section 32](/usc/16/32.md); all of [section 33](/usc/16/33.md); southwest quarter northeast quarter, northwest quarter northwest quarter, south half northwest quarter, southwest quarter, west half southeast quarter, southeast quarter southeast quarter [section 34](/usc/16/34.md), in township 5 north, range 73 west.

All of sections [6](/usc/16/6.md), [7](/usc/16/7.md), and [18](/usc/16/18.md); that portion of section 19 lying outside of [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) boundary, in township 5 north, range 75 west.

All of sections [1](/usc/16/1.md), [2](/usc/16/2.md), [11](/usc/16/11.md), [12](/usc/16/12.md), [13](/usc/16/13.md), [14](/usc/16/14.md), [23](/usc/16/23.md), and [24](/usc/16/24.md); those portions of sections [3](/usc/16/3.md) and 10 lying east of the Continental Divide; that portion of [section 15](/usc/16/15.md) lying east of the Continental Divide and on the eastern slope of Mount Nimbus; and that portion of [section 22](/usc/16/22.md) lying on the eastern slope of Baker Mountain, in township 5 north, range 76 west.

All of sections 19, [30](/usc/16/30.md), and [31](/usc/16/31.md); that portion of section 20 lying outside of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) boundary and south of the boundary line between Larimer and Grand [Counties](/usc/16/544.md?p=d); that part of sections [17](/usc/16/17.md) and [18](/usc/16/18.md) lying south of the boundary line between Larimer and Grand [Counties](/usc/16/544.md?p=d) and the Continental Divide and that part of section 29 lying outside the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) boundary, in township 6 north, range 75 west.

All of sections [25](/usc/16/25.md), [26](/usc/16/26.md), [35](/usc/16/35.md), and [36](/usc/16/36.md); those portions of sections [13](/usc/16/13.md), [22](/usc/16/22.md), [23](/usc/16/23.md), [24](/usc/16/24.md), 27, and [34](/usc/16/34.md) lying east of the Continental Divide, in township 6 north, range 76 west; and all the lands added to said [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) pursuant hereto are made subject to all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to and in force in the Rocky Mountain National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3).

Proc. No. 3144, June 27, 1956, 21 F.R. 4783, provided:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, President of the United States of America, do proclaim that the lands hereinafter described are hereby added to the Rocky Mountain National Park, in the State of Colorado, and shall, upon acquisition of title thereto by the United States, become subject to the provisions of the act entitled “An Act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes,” approved August 25, 1916, 39 Stat. 535 ([former] 16 U.S.C. §§ 1–3) [see 18 U.S.C. 1865(a), 54 U.S.C. 100101(a), 100301 et seq., 100751(a), 100752, 100753, 102101], and all acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, and all other laws and rules and regulations applicable to such park:

Sec. 33, S½NE¼, SE¼SE¼, and N½SE¼;

Sec. 34, N½SW¼NE¼, N½SE¼NW¼, SW¼NW¼, and NW¼SW¼.

### Proc. No. 3374. Enlarging Rocky Mountain National Park

Proc. No. 3374, Sept. 23, 1960, 25 F.R. 9284, provided:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, President of the United States of America, under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by the said act of June 21, 1930 [this section], do proclaim that the lands hereinafter described shall be, and they are hereby, added to and reserved as a part of the Rocky Mountain National Park, in the State of Colorado; and such lands shall be subject to the provisions of the act entitled “An Act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes,” approved August 25, 1916, 39 Stat. 535 ([former] 16 U.S.C. 1–3) [see 18 U.S.C. 1865(a), 54 U.S.C. 100101(a), 100301 et seq., 100751(a), 100752, 100753, 102101], and all acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, and all other laws and rules and regulations applicable to such park:
