# §192b–10. Boundary adjustment for Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest

- (a) **Acquisition and boundary change—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior (hereinafter referred to as the “[Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1)”) is authorized to [acquire](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1), by donation, purchase with donated or appropriated funds, or by exchange, lands or interests therein within the [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) generally depicted as “Proposed [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) [Additions](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-2)” on the [map](/usc/16/430f–7.md?p=1) entitled “Proposed [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) [Additions](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-2), Rocky Mountain National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3)”, numbered 121–80, 106–A and dated May, 1989, which [map](/usc/16/430f–7.md?p=1) shall be on file and available for public inspection in the Office of the National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) Service, Department of the Interior. Upon [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of such lands, the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) shall revise the boundary of Rocky Mountain National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) to include such lands within the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) boundary and shall administer such lands as part of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) subject to the laws and regulations applicable thereto.
- (b) **Boundary adjustment for Roosevelt National Forest—** Upon [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of such lands by the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1), the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of Agriculture shall revise the boundary of the Roosevelt National Forest to exclude such lands from the national forest boundary.
- (c) **Agreement—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) is authorized to enter into an agreement with the [owner](/usc/16/429b–3.md?p=4) of the lands identified as Tract 1127 and 1127B4, [Section 23](/usc/16/23.md), Township 3 North, Range 73, Boulder County, Colorado, within the boundaries of Rocky Mountain National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), to ensure the right of use as a single family residence, unless said property is being developed or is officially proposed to be developed by the [owners](/usc/16/429b–3.md?p=4) in a manner which would substantially change its use.
