# §1423e. Votes taken by the United States section on matters before the Commission


In accordance with paragraph 3 of article 8 of the [Agreement](/usc/16/1423.md?p=1), the [United States](/usc/16/1362.md?p=14) section, made up of commissioners appointed by the President, shall vote on any issue before the [United States](/usc/16/1362.md?p=14)-Russia Polar Bear [Commission](/usc/16/1423.md?p=7) only if there is no disagreement between the [United States](/usc/16/1362.md?p=14) commissioners regarding the vote.
