# §1136. Annual reports to Congress


At the opening of each session of Congress, the [Secretaries](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of Agriculture and Interior shall jointly report to the President for transmission to Congress on the status of the [wilderness](/usc/16/3102.md?p=13) system, including a list and descriptions of the [areas](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) in the system, regulations in effect, and other pertinent information, together with any recommendations they may care to make.
