# §1053. Delegation of responsibility for operation


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) shall assign the responsibility for the operation of the National Fisheries Center and Aquarium and related activities to that branch of the United States [Fish and Wildlife](/usc/16/3102.md?p=17) Service having as its major activity the rearing and holding of living fishes, including the operation of aquariums.
