# §9571. Purpose


The [Under Secretary](/usc/15/9501.md?p=19) shall establish the [Minority Business Enterprises](/usc/15/9501.md?p=9-A) Advisory Council (referred to in this subchapter as the “Council”) to advise and assist the [Agency](/usc/15/9501.md?p=1).
