# §9553. Report to Congress


Not later than 1 year after November 15, 2021, the [Under Secretary](/usc/15/9501.md?p=19) shall submit to the [appropriate congressional committees](/usc/15/9551.md?p=1) a report that includes—

- (1) a summary of the efforts of the [Under Secretary](/usc/15/9501.md?p=19) to provide services to [minority business enterprises](/usc/15/9501.md?p=9-A) located in [States](/usc/15/9501.md?p=17) that lack an [MBDA Business Center](/usc/15/9501.md?p=7), as of November 15, 2021, and especially in those [States](/usc/15/9501.md?p=17) that have significant minority populations; and
- (2) recommendations for extending the outreach of the [Agency](/usc/15/9501.md?p=1) to underserved areas.
