# §77n. Contrary stipulations void


Any condition, stipulation, or provision binding any [person](/usc/15/77b.md?p=a-2) acquiring any [security](/usc/15/77b.md?p=a-1) to waive compliance with any provision of this subchapter or of the rules and regulations of the [Commission](/usc/15/77b.md?p=a-5) shall be void.
