# §6711. Functional regulation of insurance


The insurance activities of any [person](/usc/15/7a.md?p=6) (including a national bank exercising its power to act as agent under [section 92 of title 12](/usc/12/92.md)) shall be functionally regulated by the [States](/usc/15/15g.md?p=2), subject to [section 6701 of this title](/usc/15/6701.md).
