# §6409. Pricing


In all cases, the price of [propane](/usc/15/6402.md?p=6) shall be determined by market forces. Consistent with the [antitrust laws](/usc/15/37a.md?p=1), the [Council](/usc/15/6402.md?p=1) may take no action, nor may any provision of this chapter be interpreted as establishing an [agreement](/usc/15/7a.md?p=2) to pass along to consumers the cost of the assessment provided for in [section 6405 of this title](/usc/15/6405.md).
