# §6407. Lobbying restrictions


No funds collected by the [Council](/usc/15/6402.md?p=1) shall be used in any manner for influencing legislation or elections, except that the [Council](/usc/15/6402.md?p=1) may recommend to the [Secretary](/usc/15/6402.md?p=11) changes in this chapter or other statutes that would further the purposes of this chapter.
