# §6307g. Confidentiality

- (a) **In general—** Neither a [boxing commission](/usc/15/6301.md?p=2-A) or[^1] an Attorney General may disclose to the public any matter furnished by a [promoter](/usc/15/6301.md?p=9) under [section 6307e of this title](/usc/15/6307e.md) except to the extent required in a legal, administrative, or judicial proceeding.
- (b) **Effect of contrary State law—** If a [State](/usc/15/6301.md?p=10) law governing a [boxing commission](/usc/15/6301.md?p=2-A) requires that information that would be furnished by a [promoter](/usc/15/6301.md?p=9) under [section 6307e of this title](/usc/15/6307e.md) shall be made public, then a [promoter](/usc/15/6301.md?p=9) is not required to file such information with such [State](/usc/15/6301.md?p=10) if the [promoter](/usc/15/6301.md?p=9) files such information with the ABC.
