# §57. Separability clause


If any provision of this subchapter, or the application thereof to any [person](/usc/15/7a.md?p=6), partnership, or corporation, or circumstance, is held invalid, the remainder of this subchapter, and the application of such provisions to any other [person](/usc/15/7a.md?p=6), partnership, corporation, or circumstance, shall not be affected thereby.
