# §2230. Surplus and excess Federal equipment


The [Administrator](/usc/15/2203.md?p=3) shall make publicly available, including through the Internet, information on procedures for acquiring surplus and excess equipment or property that may be useful to [State](/usc/15/2203.md?p=10) and [local](/usc/15/2203.md?p=7) fire, emergency, and hazardous material handling service providers.
