# §1712. Contrary stipulations void


Any condition, stipulation, or provision binding any [person](/usc/15/1701.md?p=2) acquiring any lot in a [subdivision](/usc/15/1701.md?p=3) to waive compliance with any provision of this chapter or of the rules and regulations of the [Director](/usc/15/1701.md?p=1) shall be void.
