# §1633. Exemption for State-regulated transactions


The [Bureau](/usc/15/1602.md?p=b) shall by regulation exempt from the requirements of this part any class of [credit](/usc/15/1602.md?p=f) transactions within any [State](/usc/15/1602.md?p=s) if it determines that under the law of that [State](/usc/15/1602.md?p=s) that class of transactions is subject to requirements substantially similar to those imposed under this part, and that there is adequate provision for enforcement.
