# §74. Vacancies


Any vacancy in the [board](/usc/12/1861.md?p=b-3) shall be filled by appointment by the remaining [directors](/usc/12/5481.md?p=10), and any [director](/usc/12/5481.md?p=10) so appointed shall hold his place until the next election.
