# §5470. Other authority


Unless otherwise provided by its terms, this subchapter does not divest any [appropriate financial regulator](/usc/12/5462.md?p=1), any [Supervisory Agency](/usc/12/5462.md?p=8-A), or any other Federal or [State](/usc/12/5301.md?p=16) agency, of any authority derived from any other applicable law, except that any standards prescribed by the [Board of Governors](/usc/12/5301.md?p=3) under [section 5464 of this title](/usc/12/5464.md) shall supersede any less stringent requirements established under other authority to the extent of any conflict.
