# §5369. Avoiding duplication


The [Board of Governors](/usc/12/5301.md?p=3) shall take any action that the [Board of Governors](/usc/12/5301.md?p=3) deems appropriate to avoid imposing requirements under this part that are duplicative of requirements applicable to [bank holding companies](/usc/12/5301.md?p=18-A) and [nonbank financial companies](/usc/12/5311.md?p=a-4-C) under other provisions of law.
