# §4b. Deputy Comptroller for the supervision and examination of Federal savings associations


The Comptroller of the Currency shall designate a Deputy Comptroller, who shall be responsible for the supervision and examination of [Federal savings associations](/usc/12/1861.md?p=b-9).
