# §2296. Increase not authorized in amounts of obligations issued, sold, or guaranteed by Federal agencies


Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as authorizing an increase in the amounts of [obligations](/usc/12/2282.md?p=2) issued, sold, or guaranteed by any [Federal agency](/usc/12/2282.md?p=1) which issues, sells, or [guarantees](/usc/12/2282.md?p=3) [obligations](/usc/12/2282.md?p=2) purchased by the [Bank](/usc/12/2282.md?p=4).
