# §2256. Consent to the availability of reports and to examinations


Any organization other than [State](/usc/12/2277a.md?p=5) banks, trust companies, and [savings associations](/usc/12/1861.md?p=b-5) shall, as a condition precedent to securing discount privileges with a bank of the Farm [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) System, file with such bank its written consent to examination by farm [credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) examiners as may be directed by the Farm [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) Administration; and [State](/usc/12/2277a.md?p=5) banks, trust companies, and [savings associations](/usc/12/1861.md?p=b-5) may be required in like manner to file a written consent that reports of their examination by constituted [State](/usc/12/2277a.md?p=5) authorities may be furnished by such authorities upon the request of the Farm [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) Administration.
