# §1772c–1. Community development revolving loan fund for credit unions

- (a) **In general—** The [Board](/usc/12/1752.md?p=4) may exercise the authority granted to it by the Community Development [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) Union Revolving Loan [Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8) Transfer Act, including any additional appropriation made or earnings accrued, subject only to this section and to regulations prescribed by the [Board](/usc/12/1752.md?p=4).
- (b) **Investment—** The [Board](/usc/12/1752.md?p=4) may [invest](/usc/12/1861.md?p=b-6) any idle [Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8) moneys in United States Treasury securities. Any interest accrued on such securities shall become a part of the [Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8).
- (c) **Loans—** The [Board](/usc/12/1752.md?p=4) may require that any loans made from the [Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8) be matched by increased shares in the borrower [credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) union.
- (d) **Interest—** Interest earned by the [Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8) may be allocated by the [Board](/usc/12/1752.md?p=4) for technical assistance to community development [credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) unions, subject to an appropriations Act.
- (e) **“Fund” defined—** As used in this section, the term “[Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8)” means the Community Development [Credit](/usc/12/5481.md?p=7) Union Revolving Loan [Fund](/usc/12/1752.md?p=8).
