# §928. Post petition effect of security interest

- (a) Notwithstanding [section 552(a) of this title](/usc/11/552.md?p=a) and subject to [subsection (b)](#b) of this section, [special revenues](/usc/11/902.md?p=2) acquired by the [debtor](/usc/11/101.md?p=13) after the commencement of the case shall remain subject to any [lien](/usc/11/101.md?p=37) resulting from any [security agreement](/usc/11/101.md?p=50) entered into by the [debtor](/usc/11/101.md?p=13) before the commencement of the case.
- (b) Any such [lien](/usc/11/101.md?p=37) on [special revenues](/usc/11/902.md?p=2), other than municipal betterment assessments, derived from a project or system shall be subject to the necessary operating expenses of such project or system, as the case may be.
