# §1523. Actions to avoid acts detrimental to creditors

- (a) Upon [recognition](/usc/11/1502.md?p=7) of a [foreign proceeding](/usc/11/101.md?p=23), the [foreign representative](/usc/11/101.md?p=24) has standing in a case concerning the [debtor](/usc/11/1502.md?p=1) pending under another chapter of this title to initiate actions under sections [522](/usc/11/522.md), [544](/usc/11/544.md), [545](/usc/11/545.md), [547](/usc/11/547.md), [548](/usc/11/548.md), [550](/usc/11/550.md), [553](/usc/11/553.md), and [724(a)](/usc/11/724.md?p=a).
- (b) When a [foreign proceeding](/usc/11/101.md?p=23) is a [foreign nonmain proceeding](/usc/11/1502.md?p=5), the court must be satisfied that an action under [subsection (a)](#a) relates to assets that, under [United States](/usc/11/101.md?p=55) law, should be administered in the [foreign nonmain proceeding](/usc/11/1502.md?p=5).
