# §1195. Transactions with professionals


Notwithstanding [section 327(a) of this title](/usc/11/327.md?p=a), a [person](/usc/11/101.md?p=41) is not disqualified for employment under [section 327 of this title](/usc/11/327.md), by a [debtor](/usc/11/1182.md?p=1) solely because that [person](/usc/11/101.md?p=41) holds a [claim](/usc/11/101.md?p=5) of less than $10,000 that arose prior to commencement of the case.
