# §1181. Inapplicability of other sections

- (a) **In General.—** Sections [105(d)](/usc/11/105.md?p=d), [1101(1)](/usc/11/1101.md?p=1), [1104](/usc/11/1104.md), [1105](/usc/11/1105.md), [1106](/usc/11/1106.md), [1107](/usc/11/1107.md), [1108](/usc/11/1108.md), [1115](/usc/11/1115.md), [1116](/usc/11/1116.md), [1121](/usc/11/1121.md), [1123(a)(8)](/usc/11/1123.md?p=a-8), [1123(c)](/usc/11/1123.md?p=c), [1127](/usc/11/1127.md), [1129(a)(15)](/usc/11/1129.md?p=a-15), [1129(b)](/usc/11/1129.md?p=b), [1129(c)](/usc/11/1129.md?p=c), [1129(e)](/usc/11/1129.md?p=e), and [1141(d)(5)](/usc/11/1141.md?p=d-5) of this title do not apply in a case under this subchapter.
- (b) **Court Authority.—** Unless the court for cause orders otherwise, paragraphs [(1)](/usc/11/1102.md?p=a-1), [(2)](/usc/11/1102.md?p=a-2), and [(4)](/usc/11/1102.md?p=a-4) of section 1102(a) and sections [1102(b)](/usc/11/1102.md?p=b), [1103](/usc/11/1103.md), and [1125](/usc/11/1125.md) of this title do not apply in a case under this subchapter.
- (c) **Special Rule for Discharge.—** If a plan is confirmed under [section 1191(b) of this title](/usc/11/1191.md?p=b), [section 1141(d) of this title](/usc/11/1141.md?p=d) shall not apply, except as provided in [section 1192 of this title](/usc/11/1192.md).
