# §9532. Factories, arsenals, and depots: manufacture at


The [Secretary](/usc/10/9511.md?p=10) of the Air Force may have [supplies](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-14) needed for the [Department](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-6) of the Air Force made in factories, arsenals, or depots owned by the [United States](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-1), so far as those factories, arsenals, or depots can make those [supplies](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-14) on an economical basis.
