# §9252. Service credit: regular enlisted members; service as an officer to be counted as enlisted service


An [enlisted member](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-6) of the [Regular](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-12) Air Force or the Space Force is entitled to count [active service](/usc/10/101.md?p=d-3) as an [officer](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) in the Air Force, in the Space Force, and in the Army, as enlisted service for all purposes.
