# §8018. Administrative Assistant


The [Secretary](/usc/10/8720.md?p=4) of the [Navy](/usc/10/8001.md?p=a-1) may appoint an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the [Secretary](/usc/10/8720.md?p=4) of the [Navy](/usc/10/8001.md?p=a-1). The Administrative Assistant shall perform such duties as the [Secretary](/usc/10/8720.md?p=4) may prescribe.
