# §7406. Service schools: leaves of absence for instructors


The [officer](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) in charge of an Army service school may grant a leave of absence for the period of the suspension of the ordinary academic studies, without reduction of [pay](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-15) or allowances, to any [officer](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) on duty exclusively as an instructor at the school.
