# §7012. Department of the Army: seal


The [Secretary](/usc/10/7551.md?p=5) of the Army shall have a seal for the [Department](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-6) of the Army. The design of the seal must be approved by the President. Judicial notice shall be taken of the seal.
