# §6118. Form of certifications regarding the safety or reliability of the nuclear weapons stockpile


Any certification submitted to the President by the [Secretary](/usc/10/4951.md?p=3) of Defense or the [Secretary](/usc/10/4951.md?p=3) of Energy regarding confidence in the safety or reliability of a nuclear weapon type in the [United States](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-1) nuclear weapons stockpile shall be submitted in classified form only.
