# §4845. Armament retooling and manufacturing


The [Secretary](/usc/10/4951.md?p=3) of the Army is authorized by [chapter 764](/usc/10/chstB/ptIV/ch764.md) of this title to carry out [programs](/usc/10/2101.md?p=1) for the support of armaments retooling and manufacturing in the national defense industrial and technology base.
