# §3134. Allocation of appropriations

- (a) Appropriations available for [procurement](/usc/10/3011.md?p=1) by an [agency](/usc/10/3451.md?p=3) named in [section 3063 of this title](/usc/10/3063.md) may, through administrative allotment, be made available for obligation for [procurement](/usc/10/3011.md?p=1) by any other [agency](/usc/10/3451.md?p=3) in amounts authorized by the head of the allotting [agency](/usc/10/3451.md?p=3) and without transfer of funds on the books of the [Department](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-6) of the Treasury.
- (b) A disbursing official of the allotting [agency](/usc/10/3451.md?p=3) may make any disbursement chargeable to an allotment under [subsection (a)](#a) upon a voucher certified by an [officer](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) or civilian employee of the procuring [agency](/usc/10/3451.md?p=3).

In subsection (a), the words “an agency named in section 2303 of this title” are substituted for the words “any such agency”.
