# §2350s. Authority to contribute to innovation fund

- (a) **Authority to Contribute to NATO Innovation Fund.—** Within amounts authorized by law for such purpose during the five-year period following the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025, the [Secretary](/usc/10/4951.md?p=3) of Defense may contribute to the NATO Innovation Fund a total amount of no more than $200,000,000.
- (b) **Definitions.—** In this section:
  - (1) The term “NATO” means the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
  - (2) The term “NATO Innovation Fund” means the multi-sovereign, investment venture capital fund of NATO that provides secure investment in dual-use, high-impact technology.
