# §1523. Posthumous commissions and warrants: effect on pay and allowances


No [person](/usc/10/2700.md?p=2) is entitled to any bonus, gratuity, [pay](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-15), or allowance because of a posthumous commission or warrant.
