# §15105. Promotions


Sections [14307](/usc/10/14307.md) through [14317](/usc/10/14317.md) of this title shall apply in promotions of [officers](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) in competitive categories of [officers](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) designated for purposes of this chapter.
