# §14103. Oath of members


Each member of a selection board convened under [section 14101 of this title](/usc/10/14101.md) shall take an oath to perform the duties of a member of the board without prejudice or partiality, having in view both the special fitness of [officers](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-1) and the efficiency of the member’s armed force.
