# §12774. Retired lists

- (a) Under regulations prescribed by the [Secretary concerned](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-9), there shall be maintained retired lists containing the names of the [Reserves](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) of the [armed forces](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-4) under the [Secretary](/usc/10/12521.md?p=4)’s jurisdiction who are in the Retired [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6).
- (b) The [Secretary](/usc/10/12521.md?p=4) of the Navy shall maintain a [United States](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-1) Naval [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) Retired List containing the names of members of the Navy [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) and the Marine Corps [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) entitled to retired [pay](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-15).
