# §12317. Reserves: theological students; limitations


A [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) may not be required to serve on [active duty](/usc/10/101.md?p=d-1), or to participate in inactive duty training, while preparing for the ministry in a recognized theological or divinity school.
