# §12008. Army Reserve and Air Force Reserve: warrant officers


The [Secretary](/usc/10/12521.md?p=4) of the Army may prescribe the [authorized strength](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-11) of the Army [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) in [warrant officers](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-3). The [Secretary](/usc/10/12521.md?p=4) of the Air Force may prescribe the [authorized strength](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-11) of the Air Force [Reserve](/usc/10/101.md?p=c-6) in [warrant officers](/usc/10/101.md?p=b-3).
