# §1074o. Provision of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for certain members

- (a) **In General.—** The [Secretary](/usc/10/4951.md?p=3) may furnish hyperbaric oxygen therapy available at a [military](/usc/10/801.md?p=8) medical treatment [facility](/usc/10/2700.md?p=2) to a covered member if such therapy is prescribed by a physician to treat post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury.
- (b) **Covered Member Defined.—** In this section, the term “covered member” means a member of the [armed forces](/usc/10/101.md?p=a-4) who is—
  - (1) serving on [active duty](/usc/10/101.md?p=d-1); and
  - (2) diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury.
