# §354.100. Payment of fees and charges.

- (a) Fees and charges for any inspection shall be paid by the applicant for the service in accordance with the applicable provisions of [§§ 354.100 to 354.110](/cfr/9/354.100..354.110.md), both inclusive. If so required by the inspector, such fees and charges shall be paid in advance.
- (b) Fees and charges for any inspection service shall, unless otherwise required pursuant to [paragraph (c)](#c) of this section, be paid by check, draft, or money order payable to the Food Safety and Inspection Service and remitted promptly to the Service.
- (c) Fees and charges for any inspection pursuant to a cooperative agreement with any State or person shall be paid in accordance with the terms of such cooperative agreement.
